Today is 8.8.08 which is considered as one of the
luckiest day ever by Chinese. The Chinese believe that 8 is a number
that brings both wealth and good fortune, even the pronunciation of the
number 8 in Cantonese and Mandarin is similar to that of the word
prosperity. Aside from the Olympics
opening tonight at 8 PM, what’s so significant with this date? A lot of
happenings are scheduled on this believed to be an auspicious date:
weddings, concerts, blessings, business start-ups, and even births via
Cesarean Section, etc.
I don’t know if 8.8.08 gonna bring any luck or
fortune to me, but i kinda enjoying today. Well i kinda had a lot of
fun yesterday. Maybe my luck and fortune for 8.8.08 come in advance 
Anyway, I do wish the newly wed couple congratulations & hope you
have a happy year ahead. Maybe i should plan to get married on similar
